PRO Production Engines
- Limited by cores and machines licensed
Recommended for "named server" Staging and Production environments and high volume test environments when Non-Production engine restrictions on output are not acceptable.
PRO Non-Production (a.k.a Test) Engines
- Limited by cores and machines licensed
- Output locked and password protected (beginning version 16.0)
- Watermarked output
Recommended for "named server" Non-Production environments such as QA/Test environments when the above output restrictions are acceptable.
Flex Licenses
- Limited by number of Output Pages licensed
Recommended for automatically managed environments such as Azure App Service, AWS Elastic Beanstalk and other automatically managed environments where instances/containers are added and replaced automatically.

Watermarked Output#
Some of our license types create a watermark in the footer of all output created using that license. This is to prevent commercial use of our non-production license types.
Watermarked content contains a footer that reads one of the following:
"Created by demo version of Windward - www.windwardstudios.com"
"Report created by Windward test version - www.windwardstudios.com"
"Report created by Windward Developer System - www.windwardstudios.com"
